These vowels like changes | Эти гласные любят меняться



If you stumble upon multisyllables, you should keep in mind that Russian vowels  А and О in unstressed position sound reduced. That doesn't mean that stressed vowel sounds longer. Stressed vowels, as we noted before, sound bright and clear. And unstressed vowels А and О sound as short [а]. If you are into philology, then let us note two kinds of reduction.
The first one is quantitative reduction, which means that unstressed vowels А and О sound shorter than stressed vowels.

Ко́мната [ко́мната] 3:1:1   Слушайте | Listen

The second kind of reduction is qualitative. It's when unstressed  О sounds as short [а].

Молоко́ [малако́] 1:1:3    Слушайте | Listen
Хорошо́ [харашо́] 1:1:3
Она́ [ана́] 1:3

Parts of speech | Части речи

There are 10 parts of speech in Russian language. Little by little you will know them all.  1. Noun (существи́тельное): дом, сад, мечта 2. Pronoun (местоиме́ние): я, ты, они, вы, мой, чей, наш... 3. Ajective (прилага́тельное): хороший (дом), плохая (погода), прекрасная (картина)... 4. Verb (глаго́л): читать, делать, говорить, петь 5. Adverb (наре́чие): хорошо, плохо, отлично, превосходно 6. Numeral (числи́тельное): один, десять, сто, миллион 7. Preposition (предло́г): в, на 8. Conjunction (сою́з): и, а 9. Particle (части́ца): не 10. Language art objects: Vladimir Dal and his "Dictionary"

November, 2019. A monument to the "Explanatory dictionary of the alive great Russian language" was opened in Russia, in the city of Orenburg in honor of the birthday of the lexicographer Vladimir D al. "Explanatory dictionary" - the main work of the scientist, the first edition consisted of 4 (four) volumes.
